  1. Real-time temperature monitoring
The electronic CT detects the temperature of the cable and transmits the real-time temperature to the indicator through the optical fiber.

  1. Short-circuit fault alarm
When the line current reaches or exceeds the preset short-circuit current value, the electronic CT sends an alarm signal to the indicator through the optical fiber. After receiving the signal, short-circuit fault alarm indicator of the corresponding phase flashes and backlights of the screen red flash as well.
  1. Grounding fault alarm
When the circuit current reaches or exceeds the preset grounding fault value, the electronic CT sends an alarm signal to the indicator through the optical fiber. After receiving the signal, ground fault alarm indicator flashes and backlights of the screen red flash as well.
  1. Temperature alarm indication 
When the line temperature reaches or exceeds the preset grounding fault value, the electronic CT sends an alarm signal to the indicator through the optical fiber. After receiving the signal, temperature alarm indicator flashes and backlights of the screen red flash as well.
  1. Intelligent short-circuit fault judgment
When the circuit current suddenly increases by a certain ratio and the current is instantaneously declines to zero, it is defined as a short-circuit fault.
  1. Power supply  There is micro power consumption design, quiescent current is 50uA when the backlight off and it is 1.8mA when the backlight on.
  2. Auto reset
  3. If there is no manual reset after the indicator alarms, the indicator can be automatically reset after the set time.
4. Operation method
Back light on: Press the button of "Reset Test" on the indicator, then release the button, the backlight will turn on, the backlight will automatically turn off after 10 seconds. The time of the backlight on is settable.
Alarm reset: When the circuit fault happens, the indicator will generate an alarm signal. After the fault is completed, the alarm should be cleared. The alarm can be cancelled by long pressing (5s) the "Reset/Test" button on the indicator panel of the indicator. If there is no manual reset, the indicator can be automatically reset after the set time (2, 4, 8, 24 hours) or after the circuit returns to normal. (Automatic reset mode and time can be set)
Replaceable battery: the indicator uses a piece of ER14505 lithium battery. When the indicator displays low voltage alarm indication, you can open the battery panel to replace the battery.
5. Installation
5.1 Indicator installation:
Indicator size: 96mm(width) × 49mm(height) × 80mm(depth)  
Hole size: 92.5+0.6mm(width) × 45+0.6mm(height)
5.2 Short-circuit electronic CT installation:
The short-circuit electronic CT must be installed on the single-phase branch of the cable. It can be directly mounted on the cable detected and fastened with a cable tie to prevent slippage and fall off. Appearance (see the left figure below).
5.3 Grounding electronic CT installation:
When installing the grounded electronic CT, pay attention to surround the three wires of the cable. The grounding wire of the cable must pass back through the electronic CT and fasten it with a cable tie to prevent sliding and falling off.
5.4 Connection:
The sensor and the indicator are connected by optical fiber. When installing, first remove the protective cap on one end of the fiber. The fiber hole on the back of the indicator is like yellow mark to the L1, green mark to the L2, red mark to the L3, black mark to the L4. Tighten the threaded cap so that the fiber cannot be pulled out. Then remove the protective cap on the other end of the fiber, insert the yellow, green, and red fibers into the threaded holes, insert the black fiber into the grounding sensor, and tighten the threaded cap.
